In our lives are we more concerned with proving we are right by Christ’s teaching or living by the Gospel? The question is really what power does legalism have in our life? The Jews that were there with Jesus understood what it took to live by the Law, but lost the understanding of the righteousness of the Law. Jesus not only fulfilled the Law, but delivers the truth about what a legalistic religion does to the hearts of men.
