As a country we spend billions of dollars trying to learn about our ancestors. We all have hope that we come from royalty or people of great accomplishment and character, yet often we find a past that is troubled. We would expect a lineage full of great character and accomplishment from our Lord and Savior Jesus. However, what we find is a list broken people full of sin and failures, and what should we think about that? Today’s lesson shows us how the Genealogy of Christ is not one of a broken past, but one that leads to true restoration.
